H3 (Happy, Healthy & Healing) Community Health Worker Curriculum Development Intern
The ideal candidate has a passion for health equity, making a difference in the community, and can help fulfill Community Well’s mission by helping to develop a H3 curriculum training program for Certified Community Health Workers.
Main responsibilities:
Have a cohesive understanding of the H3 program offerings and is able to help develop a training program that will help expand the reach of the H3 Program by enlisting Certified Health Workers to facilitate this program on and offsite and in multiple languages
Research similar Community Health Worker Continuing Education program afterwards report and compile findings
Work with the supervision of the Program Director to create a relevant curriculum
Help to create the training program infrastructure and completion measures
Provide regular program updates to the Program Director
General responsibilities:
Check CW email regularly and respond in a timely manner
Follow all protocol laid out regarding your specific role
Complete all tasks according to the agreed timeline
Update and organize program files in the H3 program folder in CW drive
Communicate needs, gaps, decisions to Program Director when needed
Qualifications:
Minimum Community Health Worker Certification
Experience working with San Francisco's diverse communities and neighborhoods
Ability to work as part of a team to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
At least one year of group facilitation experience
Previous teaching experience a plus
Skills Required:
Knowledge of Gmail email server for program correspondence
Comfortable using Google Drive as a “home-base” for programmatic file sharing, creating, etc
Ability to use the Zoom online Platform
Great communication skills internally and with community members

Reports to: H3 Program Director
Start Date: ASAP
Pay: $25 per hour for at a total project hours of 50 hours
Schedule:
Confirmed weekly 5 hours per week at predetermined schedule
Time/Days will be flexible, but fixed once agreed on by Community Well and Development Intern for the duration of the project
